Footage went viral showing journalist Ilir Demaliaj and former MP Kujtim Gjuzi in a physical altercation with each other.

As shown in a video posted on social media, Demaliaj attempts to hit Gjuzi. A woman tried to separate them by getting between them, but was pushed and fell to the ground.

Ilir Demaliaj reacted to the incident today, through an interview on tch.

"It's not a video to be proud of. He wrote some statuses on his Facebook account, I didn't respond because I didn't have to. I saw him there by chance, he said 'sit here', I said 'should I sit with you since you didn't leave anything unwritten?' The conversation got heated, now I don't want to discuss it anymore.

"I regret why I put myself in that position. I am against violence, it was no good, we no longer had any communication. I received many phone calls afterwards, he wrote to me, but I want to end that conversation," he said.
