NATO chief Rutte: US attacks on Iran did not violate international law

NATO chief Mark Rutte has stated that the US attacks on Iran have not violated international law.
Asked about the US attacks on Iran over the weekend, he said America did not violate international law.
"I do not believe that the American attack violated international law," he said.
Rutte also said that NATO allies have long agreed that Iran should not develop any nuclear weapons.
"Allies have consistently urged Iran to fulfill its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)," he said.
Rutte went on to say that the alliance's new defense investment plan will be 5% of GDP and this will help ensure security and defense.
"As leaders begin to gather for the summit here, that is our focus - making sure we have everything we need to deter and defend against any threat," he added.
