"We hold all the cards"/ Trump cancels Witkoff and Kushner's trip

President Donald Trump told Fox News that US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will no longer go to Pakistan for talks with Iran.

Trump said it was not worth the American delegation making the 18-hour flight to Pakistan when the US holds all the cards in the conflict with Iran.

He added that Iranians can call the US anytime they want.

"I told my people a while ago that they were getting ready to leave and I said, 'No, you're not going to take an 18-hour flight to get there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you're not going to take 18-hour flights to sit around and talk about nothing,'" Trump said.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reportedly already left Islamabad, Pakistan, following Saturday's talks with the country's prime minister.

President Donald Trump said Saturday, after canceling a US delegation's trip to Pakistan, that the Iranian regime is suffering from "tremendous war and confusion."

"I just canceled the trip of my representatives who were going to [go to] Islamabad, Pakistan, to meet with the Iranians. Too much time wasted traveling, too much work!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"In addition, there is great infighting and confusion within their 'leadership.' No one knows who is in charge, including them. Also, we have all the cards, they have none! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!" Trump added.

US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were due to travel to Pakistan this weekend for the second round of US-Iran negotiations during Operation Epic Fury./ Fox News.
