There are many murders, drug trafficking and organized crime, the deadliest city

One of the world's deadliest cities, plagued by murder and gang violence, has reopened its doors to tourists after eight years.

Located in a remote corner of Brazil, Manaus is a city known for its high homicide rate, drug trafficking and organized crime.

Even locals are terrified to leave their homes due to the level of violence from drug lords.

But tourists, including Britons, can go and visit Manaus after a major European airline resumed flights to the Brazilian city after eight years.

Portuguese airline TAP Air can now take you to the dangerous city three times a week with flights from Lisbon. It is the only direct flight that connects Europe and the Eduardo Gomes International Airport of Manaus, writes The Sun.
