Elon Musk also provokes France and Britain: The new name of the English Channel should be the George Washington Canal

Technology tycoon Elon Musk has stirred up controversy with a post on his social network 'X'.

Musk writes that the English Channel, the strait that separates Great Britain from France, should be renamed the George Washington Canal.

It is not yet known whether his post is a warning of an executive order or a future change from the Donald Trump administration, of which Musk is a part. 'New name for the body of water that separates England from France,' Musk's post reads.

President Trump has so far signed two executive orders, naming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali in Alaska Mount McKinley in honor of the 25th President of the United States, William McKinley.
