Serious accident on the Serbia-Hungary border! A citizen from North Macedonia loses his life

A serious traffic accident occurred this morning at around 05:15 near Horgoš, on the highway near the Serbia-Hungary border.

A car with North Macedonian license plates, type "KIA", went off the road and overturned near the settlement of Vishnjevac. As a result, a 39-year-old passenger with the initials NA died at the scene.

The driver, AA, 60, was seriously injured and taken to the Subotica hospital for medical treatment. Serbian media reports that criminal charges are expected to be filed against the driver for serious traffic safety violations.

The incident occurred between the Zhednik junction and the Subotica toll booth. Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Authorities are working to fully clarify the circumstances of this tragic incident.
