Series of apartment thefts in Korça solved, serial robber arrested

Korça Police have solved and documented five cases of apartment theft in the city.

The services of the Korça Police Commissariat identified, captured and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen EB, 38 years old, resident of Korça, previously convicted of the same criminal activity.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the 38-year-old is the author of the theft of the apartment of citizen Gj. M., resident in Greece, an event that occurred on 10.01.2026, in neighborhood no. 3 of the city of Korça, where various items were stolen.

Also, further investigations have revealed that this citizen is suspected of having committed four other residential burglaries in the city of Korça, which occurred on 28.09.2024, 20.03.2025, 01.01.2026 and 06.01.2026.

During these thefts, he allegedly took jewelry, sums of money, furniture, and other valuables.
