New details come to light from the assassination attempt on fuel owner Rexhep Ismaili, this evening in Gjashtë, Saranda, who was executed with a bullet to the head.
According to information from the scene, it is learned that the victim and the perpetrator had a previous conflict.
According to sources, the perpetrator went armed to the gas station owned by Ismail. The latter was in the business premises, sitting at a table with other people, when the perpetrator opened fire with a pistol in his direction, leaving him dead on the spot.
The people inside the bar immediately reacted by pulling out an automatic weapon. They fired a volley of shots at the perpetrator as he tried to leave, creating a fight scene in the middle of the business.
Despite the return fire from the victim's people, the suspected perpetrator managed to escape the bullets and quickly fled the scene. Police are continuing to work to fully identify the individuals who used the automatic weapon, while the search for the main perpetrator of the murder continues.
