2-story building collapses in Theth/ IKMT: It was an unauthorized construction!

The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection has published a video of the collapse of a 2-story building built in the tourist village of Theth.
The building in question has a reinforced concrete structure and the owner does not have a permit for the building and it was built in violation of environmental regulations.
" Theth | As part of the operation to enforce legality in protected areas, the demolition of a two-story building with a reinforced concrete structure, built without a permit and in violation of environmental regulations, was carried out ," the IKMT post states.
For days now, IKMT has been in the heart of Theth, demolishing all unauthorized constructions, mainly guesthouses or holiday homes built by local residents with the aim of using them for tourism.
IKMT employees have confronted residents, even requiring police intervention, who strongly oppose the demolition of their buildings, especially in the middle of the tourist season.
