Renis Dobra was chased by car from Burreli to Ulëz, camera footage seized

New details have emerged about the serious incident that shook the north of the country this Wednesday, where the lifeless body of 23-year-old Renis Dobra was found near Lake Shkopet.

According to reports, it is suspected that the young man was followed by another car from Burreli to the Ulëza area, where the kidnapping and subsequent murder are believed to have occurred.

The investigation team has seized footage from several security cameras in the town of Burrel, while recordings are missing from the rest of the road, making it difficult to follow the perpetrators' route.

Visible signs of violence were found on the victim's body, including bruises in the throat area. It is suspected that Dobra was initially strangled with a rope and then thrown into the lake along with the vehicle, to hide the traces of the crime. The exact cause of death is expected to be determined by forensic expertise.

The investigations have focused on two main leads: a conflict over cannabis plots, and a clash over jealousy or romantic motives. Dobra does not have a serious criminal record, except for several cases of theft.
