52-year-old Albanian man dies after falling from scaffolding in Italy

An Albanian worker has tragically lost his life in a work accident in Italy. The victim is 52-year-old Murat Tafçiu , who fell from a scaffolding at a construction site in the historic center of Modena.

The incident occurred at around 08:45 yesterday morning. Immediately after the accident, emergency teams arrived at the scene, but unfortunately the 52-year-old had died as a result of his serious injuries.

Italian authorities have launched investigations to uncover the full circumstances of the incident, while the construction company where Tafçiu worked has stated that it is cooperating with institutions to clarify the accident.

Murat Tafçiu, of Albanian origin and resident of Cavezzo, was the father of four children.
