"I am waiting for my son to be brought", Blendi Fevziu tells the words of Parashqevi Simaku

The video of Parashqevi Simaku, first published on Friday by the journalist Blendi Fevziu on his Instagram, caused a sensation during these days as many Albanians living in the USA offered to help him.
In the Opinion show on TV Klan this evening, the leader and journalist Blendi Fevziu spoke about this case, showing Parashqevi Simaku's dreams of going to Hollywood, starting with her departure from Albania to the USA in 1991.
Fevziu also remembered the last meeting in the USA with Parashqevi Simaku in 1995.
Blendi Fevziu says that she was aware of the course of Simak's life, which culminated in her divorce from her Lebanese-American ex-husband. After the divorce, the American court gave custody of the son to the ex-husband and not to the Albanian singer. This was the fatal blow for Parashqevi Simaku.
"I didn't want to publish more material. Why? Parashqevi Simaku left for the USA at a dramatic moment in her life. She decided to follow the American dream. It's not easy for anyone. Headed to Hollywood. Married a Lebanese-American, a guitarist. He had a child with her. Her marriage did not go well. There are many details about her divorce, about the court process she went through. I don't want to give any of that out because it's personal information anyway. The court decided that the boy would not be kept by Parashqevi Simaku, but by her husband. The loss of his son was traumatic for Parashqevi Simaku. Immediately after the loss of her son, she lost contact with relatives, contact with friends, left her home, her whereabouts were unknown. For 4 years he lived in a Jewish center where homeless people stay. He left there after 4 years. The last address was in Los Angeles", said Fevziu.
The journalist emphasized that the ex-husband does not accept any phone calls regarding Parashqevi Simaku. While the latter, according to Fevzi, has expressed that she is "waiting for the boy".
" For 10 years, he has been sleeping wherever he can, on the streets, train stations, in different areas, where many Albanians have identified him. Some of them and her friends met her from time to time to give her something. She had made that decision as a choice, not an option. Many people had gone to offer her help and she had refused. She had decided to take this life in a moment of trauma due to the loss of the child. The only word he has repeated to you all is 'I am waiting for my son to be brought'. Her story is about a decision she made in her life" , said Blendi Fevziu.
After the publication of the video by Fevziu, at the weekend he was found by a lady who has been living in the USA for 10 years, Elvira Tata, who managed to talk to Parashqevi Simaku in English and then in Albanian.
