The game that turned into a tragedy!/ 17-year-old opens a hole by the sea, but falls in and is covered in sand, family members find him lifeless

According to Corriere della Sera, the minor was there with his younger siblings, with whom he had fun digging a hole about one and a half meters deep. At some point, his siblings left and he was left alone. Their father was reportedly resting in the shade of a tent without immediately realizing what had happened.

Shortly after, when the father noticed that his eldest son was missing, a search was immediately launched on the beach. Thanks to the instructions of his younger brothers, they rushed to dig in the place where the 17-year-old was trapped, but it was too late. Police, firefighters and a helicopter with doctors arrived at the scene.

It is not known if there was a lifeguard on duty at the free beach at the time of the incident. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
