DVP Vlora/The police operation codenamed "Security" is finalized. Three cases are cracked in the field of illegal possession of weapons and the sale of narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, in the city and coastal areas. A firearm, a pistol, combat ammunition and a quantity of these narcotics are seized. The 2 possessors are arrested, one of them with a criminal record in the field of narcotics.
As a result of the intensification of controls, measures and presence throughout the territory of the region, with the objective of guaranteeing public safety, the smooth running of the tourist season and combating illegalities in any form of their manifestation, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force, finalized the operation codenamed "Security", during which the following citizens were arrested:
– TP, 33 years old, resident of Vlora, with a criminal record for production/sale of narcotics, after during searches in his vehicle and apartment, 1 firearm (pistol), a gun magazine, 44 live ammunition of various calibers, as well as a quantity of suspected narcotics, Cocaine, divided into doses, ready for sale, were found;
– AC, 18 years old, resident of Vlora, after being caught in Dhërmi with quantities of narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, which he was suspected of possessing with the intention of selling in the coastal area and in the city of Vlora.
The checks continue. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action.
