EMRI/ The assassination in Athens is revealed, the 22-year-old Albanian is arrested, the perpetrator admits the crime to the police, the young man's connections with the Turkish mafia

Greek police have managed to solve the assassination attempt that occurred on July 13 in Athens, where a Turkish citizen and a police officer were injured as a result of gunfire.
A 22-year-old Albanian man, identified as Alesio Biba from Vau i Dejës, has been arrested, suspected of acting on the orders of a Turkish prisoner involved in mafia murders.
The incident took place at the "Filloas" bar, on "Tripoleos" street in the Greek capital, where Turkish citizen Volkan Ertas, 48, was shot and injured. A bullet also hit a Greek policeman, the husband of the bar's owner, who happened to be there, journalist Shpresa Dine reports.
According to initial reports, the target of the assassination had gone to the bar after communicating with Turkish citizen Suleyman Dalgic, who is currently serving a life sentence in Larisa prison for the murder of six Turkish citizens in October 2023 in Artemida.
Dalgic had promised Ertas that he would get a vehicle in exchange for a debt, but the scenario turned out to be a well-organized ambush.
The suspected perpetrator, Alesio Biba, was identified after investigations and evidence collected by the Greek authorities. During the operation to arrest him, he attempted to destroy his mobile phone in front of the officers. During the search of his apartment, the police found and seized the weapon of the crime, a “Grand Power MK7” pistol, with a 15-round magazine, a spare magazine, 29 more rounds, a “Luger” cartridge, a “Samsung” phone, four packages of mobile phone numbers, instructions for using a GPS Tracker for vehicles, and a SIM card.
During questioning, the young Albanian admitted responsibility for the incident, stating that his only intention was to injure Volkan Ertas.
However, Greek police suspect that the incident is part of a chain of revenge attacks within the Turkish organized crime world, with Suleyman Dalgic playing a central role. Dalgic is accused of ambushing six members of the Turkish mafia group “Daltons”, who were executed in Greece.
A search of his cell did not find any illegal items, but investigations continue to uncover the extensive network of collaborators and international connections of this criminal group.
