NAMES/ Movie-like chase in Shkodra, two young men set off to set off TNT

Mikelian Toma, 32, and David Simoni, 34, arrested on Wednesday evening in Shkodra, are suspected of having set out to plant a quantity of TNT, but were caught by the police.
Their motorcycle was spotted by chance on one of the streets of the "Xhabije" neighborhood, on which two people in spacesuits were riding.
At first glance, the blues seemed suspicious and signaled for it to stop, at which point its driver gave it gas to drive away.
The police chased them through the alleys and after a 20-minute alley-by-alley chase, like in the movies, they were able to stop and arrest the two people, Toma, the motorcycle driver, and Simon, the passenger.
They were stopped near the Martyrs' Cemetery or Kirit Bridge in Shkodra, when the motorcycle crashed while trying to escape. Verification of the license plates revealed that its license plate was stolen and the chassis number had been changed.
Despite the investigation team's suspicions that the two young men were planning to set off TNT, which they are suspected of having thrown while being pursued by the police, the explosive material was not found.
Toma and Simon did not state anything during the interrogation session, not showing themselves to be collaborators.
It is not known who was their target, while further investigations are expected to reveal more complete details.
After their arrest, the police searched both of their cars, in which a can of gasoline, a muffler, and cocaine were found.
