"Rama's resignation without compromise"/Former KLA fighter in protest: Patronageists do not deserve democracy, but the time has come for the prime minister to leave

Former KLA fighter, Mecan Zotaj, participated in the civic protest in Tirana, where he expressed his support for the protesters' demands and called for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In his statement, Zotaj said that his main demand is in line with that of the protesters, emphasizing that "Rama's uncompromising resignation" is required.
He praised the participants in the rally, saying he saw "a very educated mass of people," while accusing the government of attempting to create tensions through its supporters.
"Our demand is in harmony with the protesters' demand, Rama's resignation without compromise. I see a very educated mass of people. The government has attempted riots with its own people. I am surprised by the indifferent people who do not come to the protest. Here is an expression for the patronage of a KLA commander. When you asked him if he was ready to fight against a country as big as Yugoslavia, he said we will fight to the death.
This people said they do not deserve freedom but the earth cannot bear the cause. The patronage does not deserve democracy but the time has come for Rama to leave," he said.
