Korça Prison as a Cabaret/ Kosovar Model in a "Special Meeting" with Laert Haxhiu

The famous Kosovar model, Ziza Pajaziti, is said to be the woman who entered the high-security prison in Drenova, Korça, where she held a special meeting with the life-sentenced member of the Lushnja gang, Laert Haxhiu.
As "Ora News" learns, on June 12, 2025, Pajaziti appeared at the Drenova prison premises, after she reportedly planned a meeting with the life-sentenced Vladimit Kurti, who turned out to have killed the merchant, Agim Buci, in his shop in Kamëz.
But as the Kosovar model entered the high-security interior of Building "A", she was accommodated in a special meeting room.
According to a secret report, in this special room, the police officers of the internal service of the Drenova prison did not accompany the convict Vladimir Kurti, with whom they had planned to meet, but the life-sentenced prisoner, Laert Haxhiu.
Vladimir Kurti is serving his sentence in Building "A", precisely in cell No. 5. While Laert Haxhiu is serving his sentence in the same building, but in cell No. 6, next to Vladimir Kurti's.
The planning letters for the special meeting with Kosovar model Ziza Pajaziti were made in Kurti's name, while the prison police brought Laert Haxhiu to the meeting.
The meeting is said to have lasted about 1 hour and then, Pajaziti left the prison premises. While Haxhiu was escorted by the police back to the premises of room No. 6, which is located on the first floor of the building.
This incident gives the impression that the high-security prison in Korça functions like a cabaret, where anyone can enter and exit as they please, as long as they have a little influence.
But at the same time, this incident also created a conflict between the now-dismissed prison director, Fatjon Fasho, and the prison police chief, Sokol Kaçoli, who was also suspended.
Both have now been referred for investigation to the Korça prosecutor's office, which has initiated criminal proceedings on the charge of "Abuse of office".
Meanwhile, 17 days after this incident, the high-security prison in Drenova is involved in a second incident. This time, the protagonist is again Laert Haxhiu and two members of his group, Anterio Kaloshi and Orgest Bilbili.
On the morning of June 29, 2025, a team of operational prison police entered the premises of Building "A", conducting a search in rooms No. 4, 5 and 6, where the convicts for murder, Laert Haxhiu, Anterio Kaloshi, Orgest Bilbili, Vladimir Kurti and Xhensi Lipo, are serving their sentences.
During the search of 3 rooms, the operational team found and seized 4 "Iphone" and "Samsung" phones, "AWEI" and "IPODS" headphones.
At this stage of the investigation, it remains unclear who the person is who supplied Laert Haxhiu's group with the telephone equipment, while investigations at the prosecutor's office continue.
The prosecution, which is pursuing the case, is conducting a series of investigative actions in the hope of finding the person who enabled the introduction of telephone items, precisely in cells No. 4, 5, and 6, where the 4 people are serving life sentences.
Meanwhile, the 4 phones have been examined and will also be sent for computer expertise in the coming days. Two days after "Ora News" published the secret report, the General Directorate of Prisons decided to dismiss the director Fatjon Fasho and suspend the police chief, Sokol Kaçoli.
After finding the phones, the Drenova prison directorate made the decision to isolate Laert Haxhiu. Meanwhile, it is expected that the head of SPAK, during this time, will propose to the Special Commission for the isolation in the "41 bis" regime of the 3 members of this criminal group, Anterio Kaloshi, Orgest Bilbili and Laert Haxhiu.
This group operated in several cities such as Lushnje, Tirana, Pogradec, Durrës, Tepelena, Peqin, Korça and Greece, committing various crimes from drug trafficking, theft, extortion, to serious crimes such as destruction of property with explosives and murder.
Haxhiu, Orgest Bilbili and Anterio Kaloshi are serving life sentences in the high-security prison in Korça, after all three were convicted of the murder of Jurgen Hoxha and Zamir Latifi, an event that occurred in 2017, in which two other people were also injured.
Meanwhile, against Haxhiu and other members of his group, there are two open court cases at the SPAK special prosecutor's office, the one for the murder of Besnik Hida, where Laert Haxhiu acted together with Orgest Bilbil, Ardian Ahmeti known as "Pepe" and other persons.
While the other file related to Laert Haxhiu is that of serial murders, thefts, and destruction of property with explosives committed in the form of a "Structured Criminal Group", where the member of the group, Artan alias Marjus Tafani, has repented./ Oranews
