Residents complain about the electrical transformer in the building where they live: Families' lives are at risk

Bilbil Kanani, a resident of neighborhood no. 2 in the city of Cerrik, addressed the investigative show "Tak Fak" to denounce a serious problem that is burdening his family's life.

On the first floor of the building where Bilbili lives, there is an electrical cubicle with a transformer inside, while his family lives one floor above. This transformer not only burns out from time to time, but also causes other unbearable inconveniences for the family.

"We have to endure the smell of burning rats that come into contact with the cabin, the constant noise, and the humidity that spreads throughout the environment," says Kanani.

The "Tak Fak" show contacted electrical engineer Azmer Dulević, who, after seeing the footage provided by the editorial staff, said that although the cabin is located on the first floor and this is not a technical problem, it is not insulated and has no fire protection measures.

“This means that technically, the cabin is not in proper parameters and poses a danger to the residents,” Dulević explained.

The residents of the building expect rapid intervention from the responsible authorities to eliminate this danger and improve their living conditions.
