UEFA: Serbia will play in Tirana without fans!

The World Cup draw was met with many dilemmas in Tirana. Ironically, the glasses put the Albanian national team in front of the Serbian one, bringing back to our minds the episode of 2014 once again.
But a sensational development has come from UEFA. Serbia will not have fans in the match with Albania that will be played in Tirana.
UEFA has confirmed the full calendar of matches, which will be played as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, and Serbia will start its journey against Albania at the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium.
This meeting, on June 7, 2025 at 20:45, will be played without the presence of Serbian fans, as UEFA has condemned the Serbian federation to play the next two transfer matches without fans.
The first trip was intended to be in Tirana, meanwhile it is not known if the red and black fans will be allowed in Serbia.
During the Switzerland-Serbia match in November, Serbian fans were shot trying to set fire to an Albanian flag.
UEFA said its disciplinary committee accused the Serbian federation of "racist and/or discriminatory behaviour" in Switzerland on November 15 and at home against Denmark three days later.
UEFA said it banned the Serbian federation from selling tickets for the national team's next two away matches in UEFA competitions, and ordered it to close parts of the stadium for its next two home matches. UEFA has also fined the Serbian federation 173,000 euros in total.
