Ferrari revolution? Vasseur and Leclerc uncertain about future

The start of the 2025 season brought a lot of excitement to Ferrari with the arrival of Lewis Hamilton, making fans dream of a powerful comeback.

But, after nine races, the reality proved more difficult: only three podiums for Charles Leclerc and a victory in the sprint race in China for Hamilton are not the expected results.

The balance is negative and uncertainty is growing, especially on the eve of rule changes for 2026.

Team boss Frédéric Vasseur seems more in danger than ever.

He constantly talks about improvements to the car, but the results do not change, while Hamilton's complaints and Leclerc's difficulties show that the handling of the situation is not having an effect.

If there is no improvement before the summer break, Ferrari will focus solely on 2026, while Vasseur could leave at the end of the season.

The candidate to replace him is Antonello Coletta, head of the Endurance project, who has achieved victories in three WEC races and has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice.

In terms of drivers, there could be a surprise: Charles Leclerc, tied to Ferrari until 2029, is a target for Mercedes, due to the possibility of George Russell not renewing and the interest of boss Toto Wolff.

Although Leclerc has been loyal to Ferrari, a poor season in 2026 could push him towards Stuttgart.

Meanwhile, Hamilton, despite having difficulty driving the car, is expected to stay at Ferrari next year, while Max Verstappen will stay at Red Bull until 2027.

Ferrari's future looks uncertain, with possible changes in direction and driver lineup.
