Suffered a heart attack, former Arsenal star urgently hospitalized

Former Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has been rushed to hospital due to heart problems while carrying out his duties as sporting director of Slavia Prague.
In a statement to the media, the Czech club confirmed that Rosicky, 44, was taken to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Prague last Tuesday. Fortunately, following medical examinations, he did not require surgery and is currently recovering at home.
Rosicky has admitted that bad lifestyle habits, lack of physical activity and family predispositions have contributed to this situation. He stressed that he is committed to a full recovery and will remain in contact with his management team. However, he has announced that he will temporarily step back from his day-to-day duties as sporting director.
Rosicky has had a successful career as a footballer, playing for clubs such as Sparta Prague, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal. After retiring from active football in 2018, he took on the role of sporting director at Sparta Prague, where he contributed to the club's revival and winning the Czech league championship.
Meanwhile, Rosicky has been linked with a possible return to Arsenal as sporting director, following the departure of Edu Gaspar.
