The Dutch championship match between RKC and Ajax, played last night, was interrupted in the 84th minute. The reason was the RKC goalkeeper, Vanessen, who after a collision with the Ajax striker fell unconscious on the ground.

Immediately his teammates surrounded him and the medical team gave him first aid. The goalkeeper then ended up in hospital and was mentioned.

But after this incident the local players no longer had the courage to continue the game and decided to return to the dressing room. The match up to that moment was 2-3 in favor of Ajax.

This is the second game for Ajax to be abandoned after the one against Feyenoord a week ago, where the fans threw cigarettes on the field and caused riots.
