The long-awaited moment, Myrto Uzuni debuts in the USA today

Albanian national team striker Myrto Uzuni has started training with his new team, Austin. The Berat player is expected to make his debut with the American club this weekend.

The 29-year-old signed a contract with the MLS club a few days ago and has now started his first training sessions. Austin plays Portland on Sunday, March 2, and Uzuni, if not from the first minute, is expected to be on the bench.

We recall that Myrto left Granada after making history with this Spanish club, becoming the club's top foreign scorer. Despite not being a favorite of coach Silvinjo, Uzuni will play his chances in the Albanian National Team, where he has been a part since 2018.
