Mirlind Daku changes teams, Rubin Kazan receives a huge sum

Mirlind Daku will be Zenit St. Petersburg's newest player. The clubs are close to finalizing the deal, with the Albanian national team striker set to join from Rubin Kazan.

"GazetaBlic" has revealed the details of this move. Rubin Kazan will receive 4.5 million euros, while medical tests are expected on Sunday.

The 27-year-old had one year left on his contract with Rubin Kazan. The renewal had been lacking, while there had previously been interest in him outside of Russia.

Daku has been showing his potential in the Russian championship since 2023. Since then, he has also earned an invitation from the red and black national team.
