German legend: Bayern won't pay 150 million euros for Wirtz, forget it!

Lothar Matthäus thinks Bayern Munich don't have 150 million euros for Florian Wirtz.

This is the figure Bayer Leverkusen are asking for, but the former Germany midfielder is expecting a price reduction.

"Bayern can't pay that much, even if they had the money. The club I think will offer something less.

"I think Wirtz will wear the Bavarian jersey in the summer. He can't wait any longer. If he doesn't, there will be talk all year about his possible move to Bayern and that will hurt him before the World Cup."

Meanwhile, a recent interview with the player hinted that he will leave Leverkusen in the summer. " I want to try something new. I know I can find myself anywhere, in any team in the world ," Wirtz said.
