Gianni De Biasi to Flamurtari? The first reaction of the Italian technician is coming

In recent days, Albanian sports media have reported on a possible surprise move by the leaders of Flamurtari i Vlorës, who are said to be attempting to bring back to Albania the renowned Italian coach, Gianni De Biasi. De Biasi's name is closely linked to one of the brightest chapters of Albanian football, as he was the one who led the National Team to historic qualification for the European Championship "Euro 2016".

However, it is rumored that the Vlora club's leaders, who are working on an ambitious project to return to the elite, are looking for a well-known figure to bring stability and raise the team's profile. In this context, the mention of De Biasi immediately sparked public interest.

But, contacted by A2 CNN journalist Dea Kozma, the Italian coach himself denied these rumors. "No one from Flamurtari has contacted me. I can't say how things will go in the future, but right now there is nothing," he told A2 CNN.

This reaction rejects the possibility of cooperation between the parties for the time being, however, it leaves a door open for the future.
