Ticket prices soar on the black market, 1500 euros to watch Albania - Serbia in the stadium

The Albanian national football team plays on Saturday at 20:45 against Serbia at the "National Arena" in Tirana, a challenge valid for Group K of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

For the match against the Serbs, which for some is more than a football match, ticket requests have exceeded 200,000, but the prices on the black market or on online sites used by ticket holders for resale are truly 'salty'.

If we do a simple check on "viagogo.com", we will see that a large number of tickets have gone on sale on this platform, from those who have likely secured one, since if the tickets are not correct, the platform protects buyers.

Beyond the fact that the tickets are posted for resale, the AFF's argument about personalized tickets, each with a name, also falls flat.

In different sectors of the stadium, starting from behind the goal and up to the VIP stand, tickets range from 180 to 1500 euros. In sector W104 of the VIP stand of the "National Arena", two tickets are still on sale at a price of 1500 euros each.

Unlike other times, the FSHF first opened the ticket application process for the match against Serbia and then there would be "an automatic random selection". This method seems to have brought chaos to the tickets and the Federation has postponed the electronic draw process by two days (it closes today, June 4).

We recall that the football body confirmed that for the match against Serbia, which will be played on June 7 at the "National Arena", there were more than 200,000 ticket requests, while the stadium has 22,000 seats in total.
