Sensational from Italy/Donnarumma could leave PSG after Champions League victory, three European giants in the race

Gianluigi Donnarumma has just reached the pinnacle of his career by securing the Champions League title with Paris Saint-Germain, following a spectacular 5-0 victory over Inter.

The Italian goalkeeper once again shone with his incredible saves throughout the tournament, capturing the attention of the entire football world.

However, the question that haunts PSG fans is whether Donnarumma will continue his adventure in Paris or leave. The goalkeeper himself, in an interview with Sky Italia, left open the possibility of leaving: "I don't know if I will stay. We will see in the coming days - for now, I am focused on the national team," he declared.

Donnarumma's contract expires in 2026 and a renewal seems unlikely at a time when PSG are restructuring the squad under sporting director Luis Campos. The club are looking to focus on more flexible, performance-linked deals, while the goalkeeper currently earns around €10m a year - a sum he feels does not match his achievements, especially after winning the three major trophies.

On the other hand, interest in Donnarumma is high. According to "Gazzetta dello Sport", big clubs such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester United are closely following the situation. His current market value is estimated at around 40 million euros.

This is not the first time Donnarumma has faced such a situation. At a young age, at Milan, he found himself in a similar dilemma: renew or leave. Despite criticism and protests from fans, Donnarumma decided to leave as a free agent.
