Barcelona loses at home, Real and Atletico Madrid win

The penultimate week, the 37th in La Liga, has brought some interesting results, with Barcelona being declared champion last week, but today failing to win at home in front of its own fans, while the two Madrid teams secured convincing victories.

Barcelona was defeated by Villarreal with a score of 3-2, in a dramatic match where the visitors came away with a full three points.

Ayoze Perez gave Villarreal the lead in the fourth minute, but Lamine Yamal equalized in the 38th minute.

In the fifth minute of added time of the first half, Fermin Lopez gave Barça the lead. Villarreal equalized in the 51st minute through Santi Comesana. Tajon Buchanan scored the winning goal for 3:2 in the 80th minute.

Real Madrid won 2-0 away against Sevilla, returning to victory. Mbappe scored the first goal in the 75th minute, while Jude Bellingham scored the second goal in the 87th minute.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid showed excellent form in the match against Real Betis, winning with a convincing 4-1 score and confirming third place in the standings.

Julian Alvarez scored two goals and provided one assist. He scored in the 10th minute to make it 1-0, while Robin Le Normand doubled the score. Pablo Fornals scored for the visitors in the 67th minute. Alvarez then scored to make it 3-1 in the 75th minute, while Angel Correa sealed the result with a goal in the 96th minute.

In other matches, Leganes won by a minimal score on the away field, defeating Las Palmas (1-0), while Getafe showed efficiency in attack and took an important victory on the field of Mallorca with a score of 2-1.

Osasuna dominated Espanyol with two goals and earned a well-deserved victory at home, while one of the most dramatic matches of the week took place in San Sebastian, where Sociedad defeated Girona with a narrow 3:2 score.

Athletic Bilbao showed superiority over Valencia and with two beautiful goals achieved a clean victory, confirming the position that sends them to the Champions League. Alaves won with a minimum score in the away match (1-0) against Real Valladolid.
