"American Pie" star loses 16 kilos: I had cholesterol problems

Jason Biggs says he lost 16 kilograms due to health problems.
"I had problems with cholesterol. Maybe because of the amount of ice cream I ate," the 46-year-old actor told Page Six.
He added that he changed his diet and started exercising. He admits that it took him "some time" to lose the weight.
Jim from "American Pie" has previously spoken about his health, including his struggle with alcohol.
"I'm going to go to therapy and work on myself," he said during a March 2024 appearance on the 'All the Fails' podcast, hosted by his wife Jenny Mollen.
"I used to get so drunk that I would disconnect from life, get out of the present moment, and not be present in a way that would make me feel," he added.
Biggs claimed that he hid the alcohol from his wife and that she never noticed.
Biggs and Mollen (45) married in 2008. They have two sons – Sid (11) and Lazlo (7).
Jason Biggs became globally famous as Jim Levenstein, the lovable teenager in the comedy "American Pie."
The film was a huge success and Biggs reprised the role in all the sequels.
