The grand winner of Eurovision 2025, JJ (Johannes Pietsch), returned to Austria on Sunday evening, May 18, after his impressive victory in the music contest. Relatives, friends and fans gathered at Vienna airport to welcome him with enthusiastic slogans and cheers.
The 24-year-old tenor appeared smiling, holding a bouquet of red roses and the Eurovision trophy, as he stepped off the plane in an atmosphere of excitement.
"Thank you all for coming. Thank you for believing in me and for being so kind," he said, moved, addressing the crowd.
His fans welcomed him with balloons and LGBTQ+ flags, while his winning song, "Wasted Love," blared through the speakers. In a video posted by JJ to his personal Instagram account after arriving at the airport, he wrote: We brought him home! I still can't believe it, but I will be forever grateful .
