Albanian singer, Christos Santikai, has recalled his childhood, specifically the period when he moved from Albania to Greece with his family.
The singer has confessed to Greek media that he has never felt displaced, as he grew up in Greece and feels Greek.
His memories of Albania are few, like the shootings, due to the civil war.
Regarding the decision to leave their country, Christos Santikai explained that it was made overnight, as there was no other choice.
"I was born in 1994 in Albania and came to Greece in 1997. I came here when my son was a little boy. I don't think I left home because I don't feel it. I feel like I'm Greek and I grew up here. The only memories I have are the gunshots, because they started in my town too ," he said.
