The last video that went viral on social networks, showing what must be Parashqevi Simaku, the singer from Kavaja, the idol of all of Albania before the fall of the dictatorship, has shocked Albanians.

Simak decided to leave the country, starting a new life away from public attention.
In her last interview with the Albanian media, Simaku confessed about her challenges and life in the USA.

"I've been working in Albanian restaurants for a while, I make Albanian music. To be honest, it's hard. I would never do it because singing in restaurants is not to my taste. I am forced because things have to start from A" , she said.

She says that she left Albania because such conditions were created.

"I'm calm because now I'm in a free world that gives you the opportunity to try.
