After weeks of speculation and hints about a rift in her marriage to renowned singer Shpat Kasapi, his partner, Selvije Jao, has apparently decided to break her silence.
"I'm finally leaving, but my heart will always hold a piece of this city," Selvija wrote in an InstaStory.
She stated that every corner of the capital has left a part of her soul, a woman who, as Selvije says, "fought, laughed, fell and got up for herself and her son," while in the post she does not mention her husband, Shpat Kasapi, in any line.
The makeup artist from Gostivar has hinted that she will leave Tirana alone with her son, Roel, without the singer.
For several weeks, fans had noticed that the couple was no longer being followed on social media, while a month ago Selvija had shared another post talking about a "difficult period" she was going through in her life.
"Don't tell me 'I don't have time' or 'I don't have motivation' anymore, because you don't know how much it will change your life," she had previously written, further raising suspicions about a possible breakup.
Now, with her public confirmation, it becomes clear that Selvija and Shpati have parted ways. Although the separation has not been accompanied by official statements from the singer, Selvija's post clearly speaks of a closing of an important chapter in her life.
We recall that the couple left Skopje to move to live in Tirana more than a year ago.
"I decided to live a different life than the one in Skopje. To have things closer. I thought about the boy, the kindergartens are better, the language is pure. However, I love Skopje very much because I grew up there, but Tirana is something else ," said Shpast Kasapi in an interview.
Meanwhile, Selvije Jao, who communicates with followers via social media, made a touching confession months ago when she discovered that their son Roeli would be with a sister or brother today.
She revealed that she was expecting twins, but lost one of the children and had to fight to save Roel. Selvije Yao confessed that the medications she took during her pregnancy have caused consequences for her health and she cannot muster the courage to have another child.
"I had a very difficult pregnancy and I have had many health consequences from the medications I took, so no matter how much I want to have another child, I can't take the courage from what I've been through. So I will dedicate myself to Roel to the fullest and leave the rest to God."
"I started the pregnancy with twins, meaning Roeli would have a brother or sister now, after I lost one I had to fight to save Roeli and the medications and hormones I was taking made me very sick. But Allah's will is always better than our wishes."
Asked about the reason for moving from Skopje to Tirana, she replied: "There are many, starting from Shpat's commitments to Roel's education. Shpat had to come to Tirana every week and we traveled more than we stayed in Skopje, so we decided to live here. I miss Skopje and Gostivar, but more so my family who live there...".
The pair met while Selvija was doing makeup for Shpatin and the girls who were chosen to perform in his music video.
" We are adapted by nature, as friends. We have talked, we have understood each other in many circumstances and I think the closeness has a big impact, then meeting and getting to know the family. It's a little emotional as a girl, but what she says, she says for the good ," Shpati described his wife.
