Dua Lipa confirms her engagement to Callum Turner: Deciding to grow old together is a truly special feeling

World-famous Albanian artist Dua Lipa has confirmed in an interview that she is engaged to her boyfriend Callum Turner.

Rumors that the couple had taken the next step in their relationship surfaced when the famous singer posed on social media last December, holding a stunning ring.

"Yes, we're engaged. It's very exciting,"  the global star told British Vogue.

She even revealed that the engagement ring was designed after Turner consulted with her best friends and her sister. 

"I'm so excited. It's nice to know that the person you're going to spend your life with knows you so well," she said.

For now, the couple is enjoying their engagement, without yet starting preparations for the wedding.  "I want to finish my tour, Calum is back, so we're just enjoying this time.

"I've never been one to think about marriage or dream about what kind of bride I'll be. And now suddenly I'm like, 'Oh, what am I going to wear?'" she commented.

She also said in the interview that once she got engaged, she truly understood what this decision meant. 

"The decision to grow old together, to imagine a life together and to be best friends forever - it's a really special feeling," she said.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner's relationship first made headlines in January 2024, when they were seen together at a party after the premiere of the series "Masters of Air" in London, in which the 35-year-old actor stars.

Since then, they have often appeared together at dinners and public events.

In July 2024, Lipa made their relationship official with an Instagram post, uploading two tender photos from Glastonbury, where she performed live.
