Rapper Ghetto Geasy's mother arrested

An action carried out today by the Police and the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has resulted in the arrest of several officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure, including Florije Kelmendi Selimi, the mother of the famous Kosovar rapper, Ghetto Geasy.

She, along with two other officials of this ministry, is being investigated under suspicion of the criminal offense of "Abuse of official duty or authority."

Kosovo Police Spokesperson, Baki Kelani, confirmed the action, announcing that the investigations are being conducted with the authorization of the competent Prosecution Office and include several suspects.

"Once the investigative procedures are completed, more information can be made public ," Kelani declared.

The investigations are being conducted as part of efforts to combat corruption in public institutions.
