The "Black List" of the USA for Albania and the Balkans is expanded, the new names are ready!

The American administration, as is known, has continued the national emergency announced by executive order on June 26, 2001 regarding the Western Balkans, after continuous threats to security, peace, but also alarming corruption.
As INA learns , this emergency is recently at a high level of evaluation and that with this the so-called Black List is expected to be expanded with other names of politicians from the region, including Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Kosovo , but also Albania.
In one of its key points it is stated that "the actions of persons who threaten peace and international efforts for stabilization in the Western Balkans" and the current situation in this region "present an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the States of United", reports INA.
Even the White House has warned about the reasons for the continuation of the national emergency, including that of President Joe Biden.
"For this reason, I have determined that it is necessary to continue the national emergency declared by executive order regarding the Western Balkans. Through this order, I expand the scope of the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13219 of June 26, 2001 (Blocking the Property of Persons Who Threaten International Stabilization Efforts in the Western Balkans), amended by Executive Order 13304 of May 28, 2003 (Termination of Emergencies Regarding Yugoslavia and the Modification of Executive Order 13219 of June 26, 2001), finding that the situation in the territory of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Albania (Western Balkans), during the last two decades, including the undermining of agreements and institutions of post-war after the collapse of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, as well as widespread corruption within various governments and institutions in the Western Balkans, hinders progress towards effective and democratic governance and full integration into transatlantic institutions, and thus poses a threat to unusual and extraordinary to the national security and foreign policy of the United States," said the document signed by President Joe Biden.
On June 8, 2021, the US had expanded the scope of this national emergency, after it was said that the countries of the former Yugoslavia and Albania have faced, during the last two decades, corruption and actions that hinder the agreements reached after the war . American ambassadors in the Balkan region have repeatedly warned about the expansion of the black list for all those who threaten and hinder international efforts to stabilize the Western Balkans./ INA
