He stated that he has supported the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, for 33 years, but that today he supports former MP Ervin Salianji, as they want freedom within the party.

"I have been a soldier of Berisha for 33 years, I would still be if it were a fair race. But today I support Salianji because we want freedom and we want a free vote. Berisha should change the name of his party to Uncle Enver's party, even the communists are better," he said.
