SPAK summons Sali Berisha tomorrow, will be questioned about the report filed by Judge Irena Gjoka, on charges of defamation

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, will be a "guest" at the Special Prosecution Office again tomorrow.
According to the letter also signed by the prosecutor in the case, Elvin Gokaj, he will be summoned to answer questions based on the report filed by the GJKKO judge, Irena Gjoka, on the charge of defamation.
Berisha will go at 10:00 in the morning and has confirmed his presence, while refusal or failure to appear faces other penalties according to the Criminal Code.
The defamation complaint case has been registered since last year, with number 139 registered by SPAK, where Berisha will be questioned in the capacity of a person with knowledge, about the matter that is under preliminary investigation.
The former president of the GJKKO, Irena Gjoka, also the judge who imposed the security measures of "house arrest" for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and "prison arrest" for his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, requested last October (2024) from SPAK to investigate the statements of Argita Berisha, who accuses the judge of being filmed asking for 500 thousand euros from a former SP exponent.
