The June 12 plenary session is postponed

The Conference of Speakers was accompanied by debates between the majority and the opposition regarding the next plenary session on June 12, which has now been postponed to the 16th.
Contrary to what was decided at the Conference of Speakers on May 29, the majority requested that there be no parliamentary session on June 12.
This proposal has brought the reaction of Democratic MP Gazment Bardhi.
"You have a good path to where you will be on the 12th. You have solved the problems in Albania, go and solve the conflict in Ukraine. There is no reason to postpone the assembly session. There is no reason to postpone the session from the 12th to the 16th because this has been approved by the Conference of Speakers. The Assembly is not your property and spoils as you have tried to treat it in recent times," said Bardhi.
Democratic MP Jorida Tabaku also had strong criticism of Elisa Spiropali.
"I would like to raise a concern about a statement you made a few days ago on integration issues. Your language was divisive and derogatory towards the opponent. The Assembly rostrum cannot be used for this language. This is not the language that integration requires. I am sorry to say, but since you took over the leadership of the Assembly, we have taken steps backwards in the Integration Council, but also in the Special Commission and then in the electoral process. You have not fulfilled your duties. Elections are the first criterion and condition in all reports and tasks required for the integration process. And this criterion was violated in the last elections."
