Rama visits South Korea, agenda revealed

The Media and Information Agency informs you that Prime Minister Rama will pay an official visit to the Republic of South Korea (May 17–21), accompanied by his wife, Linda Rama, and the delegation. The visit aims to deepen cooperation between the two countries, as well as expand partnership, in areas of mutual interest for development, technology and innovation.

Upon his arrival in Seoul, Prime Minister Rama will be invited to a welcome dinner organized by the Asian Leadership Center and the Harvard Club of Korea, organizations engaged in promoting leadership, education, and international cooperation in Asia. Representatives of Korean politics, government, and business will participate in this event, while the Prime Minister will also hold meetings with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Kim Minseok, as well as with Samsung CEO, Lee Jae-yong.

At the opening ceremony of the prestigious Asian Leadership Conference, Prime Minister Rama will deliver a welcoming speech alongside important international personalities, including South Korean Prime Minister Kim Minseok.

Afterwards, Prime Minister Rama will be a special guest at the panel on the topic "Conversation with a Leader: An Era of Great Transformation: the Grand Strategy of a Small Nation", where he will address new global challenges from the perspective of the Western Balkans, the strategies of small countries in the face of geopolitical changes, as well as the role of artificial intelligence and digital innovation in governance.

The visit's agenda also includes a series of meetings with leaders of the largest Korean companies, with a focus on economic cooperation and investment opportunities in Albania.

As part of the visit, Prime Minister Rama will also participate in an exclusive dialogue with leaders of the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).
