"PD without leadership", Salianji: If we think Rama has fallen, we have nothing on the line

Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji has criticized the current leadership of the DP, saying that the party's base is organizing itself, while the leadership has lost touch with voters.
Invited to the show "This Week", Salianji said that he sees the round of meetings that has begun several months ago as evidence of the will of the Democrats to rebuild the DP, despite, according to him, the abandonment by the leaders.
Salianji added that the party leadership has not communicated with the structures for about eight months since the elections and that it has created a fictitious reality, repeating every week that the government has fallen.
Ervin Salianji: People are showing up to fill the halls. They are people who, disappointed by the abandonment and negligence of the DP leadership, which has not been theirs for 8 months since the election date, are organizing to keep the DP alive.
The Democrats are there, they are not afraid, they want encouragement and trust, and they are ready to face the government. If the DP leadership says every week that we have overthrown Edi Rama, while he is in government, then we have nothing on the line.
