The Democratic Party will protest today in front of the Parliament, while the plenary session is expected to vote on SPAK's request for the immunity of MP Belinda Balluku. The protest will start at 10:00, while the Tirana Police have taken measures to guarantee order and security during the rally.
Starting last evening, the area around Parliament has been surrounded by a metal fence, while an increased police presence is expected to avoid any incidents.
The police have also announced a plan of measures for the protest. As part of the plan, from 6:00 AM until the end of the rally, vehicle traffic will be restricted on George W. Bush Street.
The police also announce that, depending on the development of the rally, there may be temporary restrictions on other axes, while traffic will be diverted to alternative routes to facilitate the movement of citizens.
