The opinion of Venecia/ Basha: The majority should immediately remove Xhačka's mandate. The decision of the Constitution cannot be discussed in any democratic country

The chairman of the Democratic Party-Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Lulzim Basha, has asked the majority to immediately take the step to remove the mandate from deputy Olta Xhaçka. Referring to the opinion of the Venice Commission, Basha says that any other interpretation is an attempt to defend illegality.
He also criticized attacks on the Constitutional Court and justice, stressing that such actions harm democracy and show the influence of political and individual interests.
Basha's post:
Today, there is only one reaction that should come from the majority: They should gather and remove the mandate from Olta Xhčka. This is briefly and precisely the opinion of Venice. Any other interpretation is a poor attempt to cling to illegality.
The decision of the Constitutional Court cannot be discussed in any democratic country. In no country can justice be targeted according to political and individual interest, as is unfortunately being done today by the majority and part of the opposition.
