308 out of 1282 ballot boxes are counted in Tirana/ How mandates are divided in the capital, Shehaj needs 44 votes to get one MP for the DP

The counting of ballot boxes has been ongoing in Tirana for hours.

Out of 1282 boxes, 277 have been counted so far.

So far, the SP has collected 40,631 votes, the DP 29,597, the Mëndësia 4,171 votes, the PSD 2,951 votes, the Together Movement 2,387 votes, and Albania Becomes 2,656 votes.

The SP secured 19 mandates, the DP 14, the Opportunity Party secured 1 mandate, the PSD 1 mandate, the Shqipëria Behet one mandate and the Lëvizja Bashkë one mandate.

From the vote count, it turns out that the 14th mandate that the DP currently has is too weak to hold. This is because if the Opportunity Party receives 44 more votes, it will take one mandate from the DP, reducing it to 12 mandates.
