Monika Kryemadhi makes an unexpected move today, after the violent arrest of Ilir Meta

Monika Kryemadhi will speak today at noon from the Presidency of the Assembly, a day after her ex-husband Ilir Meta was arrested by order of SPAK, as she was ordered to appear.

According to the press office from the Parliament of Albania, Freedom Party MP Monika Kryemadhi will hold a press conference.

"At 12.00, the MP of the Freedom Party, Monika Kryemadhi, will give a press conference from the Presidency of the Assembly", announced the press office of the Assembly.

The arrest of Ilir Mete, against whom SPAK has filed three charges, sparked controversy among which it was called a 'show', while the opposition called it 'political kidnapping'. 

The only person who accompanied Meta in the vehicle was the organizational secretary of PL and was not an employee of the Republic Guard, as the Constitution provides for former presidents, but Meta himself sent them away some time ago.
