Minister of Justice Toni Gogu meets with SPAK head Klodian Braho: Cooperation to improve the legal framework and increase the efficiency of the system

The Minister of Justice, Toni Gogu, met with the head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho, within the framework of the Ministry of Justice's responsibilities for the functioning of the justice system.

At the center of the conversation was inter-institutional cooperation in several key areas, which, according to the minister, are related to improving the legal framework, strengthening institutional capacities, infrastructural support, and increasing the efficiency of the system.

According to Minister Gogu, one of the main points of cooperation will be addressing existing legal gaps, including issues related to the status of prosecutors, procedural competences and international cooperation. Coordination at the public policy level, as well as the consolidation of standards and practices that guarantee legal certainty and public trust, also remain in focus.

The Minister praised SPAK as a key institution in the fight against organized crime and corruption, linking its role not only to strengthening the rule of law, but also to advancing Albania's European integration process.

Gogu emphasized that cooperation with SPAK and all justice institutions will be based on full respect for the separation of powers and the independence of institutions, underlining that the goal is a more functional, more reliable and more efficient justice system for citizens.
