US President Donald Trump has released a video that he claims shows the destruction of a major bridge in Iran, at a time when tensions in the region are rising sharply. The footage was shared on the Truth Social platform, where Trump referred to the “largest bridge in Iran” as the target of a bombing attack. In the same post, he sent a strong message to Tehran, urging it to move immediately towards a deal “before it’s too late.”
Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported that at least eight people were killed and 95 others were injured after an explosion on a bridge on the highway connecting Tehran to Karaj, in the western part of the country. According to the Fars News Agency and Iranian state television, the information was confirmed by the deputy governor of Alborz province, Qodratollah Seif. In his response, Trump warned of further possible attacks on critical Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, stating that the US military “has not even begun” to use its full military capabilities.
He added that the Iranian leadership must act immediately, stressing that it "knows what needs to be done and it needs to be done quickly," a statement seen as a signal of a possible escalation if a deal is not reached in time.
