Crisis in passing laws/ SP MPs leave parliament, Tom Doshi comes to their aid!

Before the start of this Monday's plenary session, the Socialist Party parliamentary group met at the Presidency of the Assembly.

Sources for Euronews Albania indicate that the group's chairman, Niko Peleshi, raised as a main concern in the meeting the permanent lack of deputies in committees and plenary sessions, causing the Socialists to not have the necessary numbers to vote on draft laws, both in committees and in plenary sessions.

Sources indicate that in the closed-door meeting, Peleshi also brought up the example of a deputy, without mentioning him by name, who left for the US and told him not to 'count' him until the end of this legislature.

Peleshi drew the attention of the deputies, telling them that he was bringing President Rama's messages to the meeting.

Peleshi also thanked the deputies from PSD and Tom Doshi, who were present, thus making possible the necessary numbers for the vote.
